The central learning experience on the Next Generation Leaders Programme comes from the team project.
Participants select a project team and topic from a range of areas suggested by BRC leads. Projects are centred on real changes, and offer an opportunity for participants to work together as a leadership team, to apply their learning from the programme, and to develop as collaborative leaders.
Teams are supported by faculty and by a team mentor. In addition to working together during workshops, they are required to meet weekly and progress their project, which constitutes a considerable time commitment on the programme.
Projects are presented to senior executives and project stakeholders during the final session, and teams also submit a poster. Some examples of past project posters are included below.
The projects are consistently cited as the most important and satisfying part of the programme.
